Balsamic Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (optional), minced

Directions:

In a small container with a lid, mix the oil, vinegar, honey, salt and pepper, and garlic. Cover with lid and shake well.

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Easy Homemade House Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Dried herbs of your choice (optional)

In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together until combined—or, if desired, use a blender or bullet to mix.

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Garlic & Herb Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
  • Dry or fresh herbs of choice such as Herbs de Provence

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until combined. Add water (up to 1/4 cup) to thin, as needed.  This dressing may also be whipped up in the blender or bullet which makes it a little thicker and creamier.

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Avocado Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried dill, finely chopped

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend. Add a little water to thin the mixture to the desired consistency. Store in refrigerator for several days.

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Creamy Ranch Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup avocado mayonnaise
  • 1/4 canned full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • Chopped fresh chive (optional)

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a jar or container that has a lid. Stir together until blended. Put the lid on the jar and shake to thoroughly combine. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Reducing Tip: Thin out this dressing by adding some unsweetened coconut milk (from a carton, not a can). It will make the dressing go further,

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Cilantro Fiesta

Ingredients:

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup packed fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup packed fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey or pure maple syrup
  • Pinch of red or cayenne pepper, or a dash of Tabasco sauce

In a blender or processor, combine garlic and salt and process into a paste. Add cilantro and parsley, and finely mince. Add vinegar, oil, and honey and blend fully. Add your choice of pepper or Tabasco sauce to taste.

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Asian Sesame Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dark roasted sesame oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced ( about 1 teaspoon)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Braggs aminos or Coconut aminos
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Optional – Sweeten with 1/2 teaspoon of honey or use a smidge of stevia or monk fruit extract.

Directions:

Whisk together in a medium bowl all of the ingredients above.

Serving Size – 2 Tablespoons

Cole Slaw Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup raw honey
  • 1/2 cup raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Option: Add stevia if you like a little sweeter coleslaw.

Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, place dressing ingredients. Stir to combine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool to touch. Pour the dressing over the coleslaw.
